Nice little kit from Academy. The overall detail is quite good. The cockpit is out of the box, I only added aftermarket PE seat belts. Sidewall and instrument panel detail was good enough in my opinion. I added a bit of detail to the engine with copper wire and plastic card. A bit of filling and sanding was required around the wing / fuselage joints. I added landing lights and a pass light on the wing using the tips of pins.

 

For this one, I used Tamiya Acrylics only. The Aluminium colour is XF-16 and the Grey anti-glare panel is XF-53.

After a light panel wash I decided to add the gun port and bump on the nose. It just didn't look right without it! So, off went the paint! Fortunately it was an easy touch-up job!

And the final outcome!
